(Statement)

The idea of this florist woman denying this gay couple for a wedding was ridiculously dated. Eduardo Recife was my influence, using collage to express how seemingly pure this woman claimed her intentions to be to cover up actual homophobic rudeness. The picture shows her in a nice light for an action that was selfishly malicious. I want people to initially think that the illustration i did was sweet and then to wonder why is it their eyes are partially covered and why the men are identical. Question the image like they should question the florist's intention.
